Every session consists of several sets, and during the planning, we will discuss the various composition types - the framing.
Each composition has its requirements and needs the model to be adequately prepared. Please find below the most common framings and their requirements.
The beauty shot is the most intense framing in photography. The viewer establishes a direct and very fierce connection to the subject.
The very popular portrait/headshot is a flattering composition from head to shoulders. Posing and body tension plays an important role here.
Cropped right above the hips, the half-body shot is one of the essential fashion and editorial compositions.
The Two-Thirds is the second essential framing for editorial and fashion photography. Cropped right above the knees, it displays the features of the subject at their best.
The Three Quarters is an intermediate composition between the Two Thirds and Full Body / Full-Length shoot. It is cropped right over the ankle and is especially useful to draw attention to the hips and legs.
The Full Body shot is widely used for all occasions and is especially useful to accentuate the legs.
